Looking for ways to add protein to your snacks, but getting frustrated when you pick up something like a protein bar and start to read the label? Ingredients that you can't pronounce, Ingredients that have numbers instead of names - Is it a candy bar in disguise or a chemist? Either way its definitely not good for you!
Here is a quick & easy recipe that you can create easily in your blender, using Superfoods. There are definitely no nasty surprises in this protein snack - just real ingredients!

Ingredients
1 cup cacao butter
1/4 cup coconut oil
3/4 cup cashews
1/4 cup Tonic Superfoods Cacao Powder
1/4 of an Orange including the rind
3 scoops Tonic Superfoods Organic Whey Protein
1 tspn Spirulina
1 tspn Tonic Superfoods Maca Powder
2 tbspn Agave Syrup
2 cups of Tonic Superfoods Goji Berries or Raisins
Optional
1 tspn Cacao Nibs
If using the raisins instead of Goji berries, try throwing a bit of fresh ginger too!
Use a double boiler (bowl sitting in a saucepan of boiling water) to melt the cacao butter & the coconut oil. Once liquid, put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Poor the ingredients into a shallow tray & place in the fridge to cool for about 2 hours. Cut into individual sized pieces - Yum!
